Job Description
We need a Forklift Operator/Truck Driver who is dependable and cares about safety to join our Homebush team. You will be very important for keeping the supply chain running smoothly, making sure deliveries meet customer needs, and adding to operational excellence as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correctly wrap and get pallets and boxes and get them ready for shipping
- Use the right manual handling methods to safely load and unload goods.
- Get customer orders to them on time and make sure the goods come in great shape.
- Tell internal teams about arrival times, delays, and problems.
- Do administrative tasks, such as keeping track of supplies and writing up reports.
- Daily checks of vehicles and tools should be done while keeping them clean.
- Follow WH&S standards to keep the workplace safe and legal.
- Help improve processes to make them more efficient and cut costs.
Skills & Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required; an HR license is recommended.
- Picking and packing experience in a cold warehouse or with fast-moving consumer goods is desired.
- Skills in following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP rules
- Being good at using Microsoft Office or ERP systems
- Strong ability to work with others and talk to them
- Health and safety at work (WH&S) commitment
